Some data sources allow you to control the fields returned, but others (such as APIs) do not. This page lets you choose which of the returned fields are to be made available to designers of other entities, and the order in which they are shown.

In the example above, the AuditLog type of data group is being used but only a limited number of fields are required by other entities such as fPanels dashboards. Drag and drop the fields between the Include/Exclude boxes to arrange the fields as required. When you add a panel in a dashboard with this data group, only the included fields will be shown and by default, in the order selected.

Leave the Include box empty to take the default of all fields.
