The words in the data specified are presented by showing their size in proportion to their frequency in the text.

The words can be taken from one of two types of data:

• From Data - each record in the panel's data group contains a word or phrase and a weighting (or count)
• From Text - the text is built from placeholders and the words within it are counted

Specify the fields in the panel's data the represent the Words and Weight. Each word or phrase is shown in the word cloud, with its size based on the value in the Weight field. If either field is not specified, the first appropriate field in the data will be used.

Enter placeholders in the Text entry to build up the full text to be analysed. Make sure you leave spaces between placeholders to prevent words running together.

The individual words in the text will be analysed and shown in the word cloud with the size of each based on the number of occurrences of each word.

By default the words in the cloud are displayed horizontally but by checking this option they will be displayed in a spiral pattern.

Check this option for the word cloud to be animated when displayed. This draws attention to the panel, especially when changed due to filtering.
