fPanels dashboards, fDocs/fSheets documents and full page menus can all be run in a browser from a URL. The URL is typically used in external systems as a link to go directly to one of these entities (e.g. to generate a document) or to open a dashboard directly but with navigation menus in place.
This page helps you create such a link.
The text box at the top of the page is the created link which changes as you make entries and selections. Copy from this box (Ctrl-A then Ctrl-C), or click the Clipboard button to copy the link to your clipboard.
An option at the top of the page tests the link created.
Entities may be called by their alias instead of their unique id. This makes the link visually clearer as the alias is a more descriptive text value, but the danger is that the alias can be changed, rendering the link wrong, whereas the id cannot be changed.
[fPanels dashboards and full page menus only]
When the link is used you may wish to add navigation menus to the side and/or top of the page, or to stop further navigation altogether.
Check Stop Further Navigation, or select Top Menu and/or Side Menu from the lists provided.
If the menu(s) selected require external inputs the values may be entered. Any that coincide with the entity's own external inputs will be disabled here and only permitted in the User Inputs section of the page.

If specified, the called page will be opened in a window by this name (or special name such as _self).
[fDocs and fSheets documents only]
For fDocs documents you can specify the formats to be made available to the user (e.g. Docx, PDF), or allow all available options. Drag and drop the formats into the Include box, in the order you want them shown in the Select page. If only one is added, that will be used without offering the user a choice.
You can also override the document's Output Filename. Enter the file name you wish to use.
If specified, recorded in the fSeries User Log as the source of the request. By default this is from the Referrer HTTP header value or if not present then “[Direct]”.
If any external inputs are required by the entity they will be offered as entries here.
Entries made here are not validated as they may require placeholder values for calling applications.
Lookup values in the Select page must exactly match the value (not display text) of the available entries.
Date entries must be in the format yyyy-mm-dd
Check the Auto Generate option to action the link without user input.
Otherwise, you can choose the following options:
