When starting a new template the Properties page is opened but with some extra entries.

A new template can be started from a number of starting points:

• Empty document - the new template will be started from an empty spreadsheet into which you can add content
• Upload a file - you will be asked to upload a spreadsheet file from which the new template will be started
• From an fDocs template - you will be asked to select the template from which the new template will be started
• From a Master fSheets file
• From an fSheets master template - one marked in Properties as a master

If the selected starting document is not one that already contains a specified DSD, you will be required to select a DSD that will be used to gather the data for the output.

This is the case for an empty document, an uploaded file and an fSheets Master file.
