All entities (fData, fDocs, fSheets, fPanels and Menus) have a design history which holds previous versions of the design either when published or when the user has chosen to mark a version by adding a backup.

Whenever you publish or “back up” a design you will be asked to enter optional version notes. These are saved along with the date/time of the save and a copy of the design at that time. At any time you can roll back your design to one of these saved versions.

This makes designing new versions safer as you can try something out, test it and roll back if it's not as you want it.

To prevent excessive data storage of unwanted history your account will have limits on how many are retained and the system will manage the contents of the Design History automatically by deleting old records based on two settings:

• Minimum Entity Rollbacks - old history for an entity will never be reduced to less than this number
• Maximum Total Rollbacks - the maximum total number of history records for your account

These settings are not available for you to edit but may be changed by the supplier.

History is never deleted on the same day as it's creation.
