The 'DataGroup', 'DSD' and 'DSDDG' data group types make it possible to gather data into one DSD from a different DSD.

This type obtains its data directly from a single data group in another DSD. Simply select the appropriate DSD using the DSD Picker and select the required Data Group form then list provided. If the selected DSD requires any external input you will be shown a list and you must provide an input to your data group that will pass the input to the external DSD.

These types are used to gather data from more than one data group in a separate DSD.

In the 'DSD' type data group select the required external DSD using the DSD Picker. If the selected DSD requires any external input you will be shown a list and you must provide an input to your data group that will pass the input to the external DSD.

For each data group in the external DSD from which you wish to bring in data to your DSD, add a 'DSDDG' data group. In each, select the 'DSD' data group (above) as the 'DSD' setting and then select the required data group from the list provided.
