An fMaps Features File contains a list of features, each with associated properties. If you loaded a GeoJson file when creating a new Features File it will already have some properties associated. You may add as many properties as required but any properties which have no values in any features will be removed when the file is saved.
To create a property click “Add Property” on the Properties page and enter its Id which must be unique within the file.
The properties may be any value associated with a feature (area or map point). For example it may be a branch Id and name, or a description of the feature.
You should designate one property as the unique Id Property. For areas files you can also designate one property as the Title Property which will be used as the text shown for the area when displayed on a map. These are set in Settings.
The Features page shows a list of features in the file along with all properties set for each. If any features are missing an Id Property value and/or a map location or area are highlight in red.
Click on a feature or click Add Feature“ to open a feature for editing.
Enter the values for each property. If the file is for points you can enter the latitude and longitude here. Click Draw to open the Map page in order to edit the point/area on the map.
