The Page / Email page deals with settings for the process page and process email. Each is optional and the designer may choose which is appropriate for the process
The process page may be selected from a menu or run direct from a URL. It shows a list of links for the user to open to see documents and dashboards of interest to them.
Optionally the user may download a zip file containing all the documents in the list (excluding fPanels as they have no output document).
The process email is sent to one or more people as a notification of items of interest to them. The email contains the same links as the process page. The recipient may click on a link to enter the system and view the item.
Documents are not sent in the email in order to ensure the email are not too large and to make sure that the person clicking on the link has the security permissions to view the link's contents.
There are three main options that may be selected:
Check this if the process is appropriate to be accessible directly from a menu or URL, to display the links on-screen.
If 'As Page' is selected a sub-option allows the user of the process page to download a zip file containing all of the documents in the links.
Check this if the process is appropriate to send as an email containing the links.
For both the process page and the process email, two settings are provided.
The 'Description' is the heading on the process page and is the subject for the process email.
The optional 'Narrative' is the sub-heading on the process page and is the top if the body (before the links) for the process email.
For both, use the placeholders to the right to include data from the process DSD.
A number of settings are required for the process eamil.
One or more email addresses to whom the email will be sent. Multiple addresses must be separated by commas. Use a function to obtain addresses from the process DSD.
By default, if there are multiple addresses all recipients will be included on a single email. Check this option to have individual emails sent to each recipient.
An optional email address to which replies will be directed. If not entered, this will be taken either from the General Template Account Email, or the From Email if not set.
The email address from which the email will be sent.
An optional display name for the 'from' address. use the placeholders top the right to insert values from the process DSD
Choose to mark the email as Non Urgent, Normal or Urgent.
This option is only available if enabled in fAdmin Settings by checking the 'Process Send As Files' option
For security reasons this is not recommended
Check this option for the email to contain the files specified as attachments instead of as links.
A warning will be given if this option is selected.
